To Live Here - a Haiku Anthology, The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press, August 2, 2023

From the Editors: "To Live Here"  -  a collection of haiku on the theme of home, which explores the many facets of human experience, from the mundane to the sublime. Featuring the work of talented poets from around the world, this anthology invites readers to reflect on the beauty and complexity of the world we inhabit. The original illustrations are by Scottish artist Colin Thom. All proceeds are donated to charity.

30th Samobor Haiku Meeting, 2023

The 30th ileeJubilee Samobor meeting of haiku poets from all over Croatia was held on April 22, 2023. In the anthology "Darko Plažanin" the 30th Samobor Haiku Meeting is included 51 haikuists from abroad and 87 from Croatia. Among them are my 4 haiku. 

Ciężar pyłu / The weight of dust

Wstrząśnięci wojną w Ukrainie, włożyliśmy nasze serca w ten malutki, trójjęzyczny tomik: "Ciężar pyłu. Haiku dla Ukrainy". 

Shocked by the war in Ukraine, we put our hearts into this tiny, trilingual volume: "The weight of dust. Haiku for Ukraine".

"Marta Chocilowska tells us much with very little. By the words she chose, we can surmise that the narrator is holding onto her father’s other arm, and (since the coffin is small) that she is a child and the deceased is her sibling. The juxtaposition of this sad scene with the beauty of the aptly named butterfly provides a rich experience".
